MacPowerDev is a small, independent, non-commercial software development project and website.
We care about privacy and try to collect as little information as possible. This Privacy Policy explains separately how data may be handled by the MacPowerDev website and by MacPowerDev apps.

MacPowerDev does not independently operate advertising, profiling or visitor-tracking systems, and we do not sell personal information.
WordPress.com may automatically collect technical information about visitors in order to operate the website and provide its services.
This may include information such as IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, referring pages and interactions with the website.

MacPowerDev Apps
MacPowerDev apps do not independently collect personal information or include our own user-tracking or profiling systems.Data collected directly by platform providers such as Google LLC through Google Play or Google Play Games, or Apple Inc. through the App Store, is governed by the respective providers’ privacy policies.
Platform providers may make aggregated information available to MacPowerDev, such as download, installation, usage or sales statistics. This information does not directly identify individual users.
Mc Sudoku — Data Collection and Use
Mc Sudoku is currently the only MacPowerDev app that includes an optional feature allowing the player to submit information to an online service.
After completing a game, the player may choose to upload a nickname and score to an online leaderboard hosted by SilentWolf.
Using the online leaderboard is completely optional.
Mc Sudoku does not require the player to provide their real name, email address or other personal information to MacPowerDev in order to submit a score. Only the nickname chosen by the player and the associated score are submitted through the leaderboard feature.
The leaderboard service itself is provided and hosted by SilentWolf. Please refer to the SilentWolf Privacy Policy for information about how SilentWolf handles data submitted to its service.
Players who do not wish to use the online leaderboard can simply choose not to upload their score.
Your Data and Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights concerning personal information relating to you. In the European Union, these rights may arise under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
These may include, where applicable, rights to access, correct or request deletion of personal information.
If your request concerns information submitted through MacPowerDev — for example, a comment on this website — you can contact us and we will do our best to assist using the tools made available by WordPress.com and the relevant service providers.
For information collected directly by WordPress.com/Automattic, Google, Apple, SilentWolf or another third-party service, please refer to the privacy information and contact procedures provided by that service.
Children
MacPowerDev does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Our apps do not require users to provide MacPowerDev with their name, email address or other directly identifying personal information.
The optional Mc Sudoku leaderboard only requests a player-selected nickname and score. Users should not use their real name or other personal information as their leaderboard nickname.
